He hasn’t been very well recently, and personally I think he might be depressed a little. He’s lost a lot of weight and has been over grooming himself in lots of places all over his body. So we took him to the vets after we tried all the usual stuff (like worming him) the vet gave him some meds but he was still losing the weight. So the vet, who by the way happens to be a very lovely woman, takes some blood to rule out a couple of things it could be, which were diabetes, hypothyroidism (under active thyroid gland) and kidney failure, it wasn’t any of those. We took him back today for more blood tests to test for leukaemia and feline aids, we thought sure as hell it would be leukaemia as he has all of the symptoms, it was neither of those. The vet now thinks about 99% he has a tumour somewhere, only my cat has a heart problem and wouldn’t cope well with any more stress on his body and so we are left with not many options and may face difficult decisions sooner rather than later. He isn’t very old, only 5 years and we have had him from a kitten, and I adore him and he also adores me, he is my cat you see, and if any of you reading this have either read or seen Phillip Pullmans golden compass then you will understand the term “daemon” and that he is mine, that is how close we are. You also may be wondering why I’m telling you this, well why not? He is the most loving and loyal cat I have ever had and he comes before anyone else in my world, I love him. Simple as that. Also due to the way his health has been and could possibly go I may end up spamming tumblr (ie your dashboard) with pictures of my little moggie, therefore this is a pre-warning to cat pics and lots of them.

Yep well it’s sleep time the usual way lately, with fucking tears in my eyes thanks to my fucking arsehole of a boyfriend, thank you very much dickhead!! As if I needed this on top of everything else!!
